CRIME REPORT: 2 women with children by the same man play dangerous game of bumper cars

Source: The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tenn.迷你倉價錢Aug. 29--Apparently driven by jealousy, two women who have children by the same man played a dangerous game of demolition derby in the Hickory Hill area recently, repeatedly smashing their cars into each other.Shenika Sanders, 27, has been charged with reckless endangerment and striking a parked vehicle. She is being held on $5,000 bond. A warrant has been issued for the second woman involved, Shanicka James, but she remained on the loose Thursday.According to police, this all began just before 3 p.m. on July 31 in the parking lot at 5649 Challenge Drive. James, driving a 2002 Chevy Trail Blazer SUV, was dropping Leo Williams off for work. Waiting in the parking lot, police said, was Sanders, in a Toyota Corolla.Police later determined through surveillance video and witness statements that the two women intentionally struck each other's cars in that lot, then drove onto Challenge Drive, continuing to bump cars. They then pulled into a nearby lot at 4155 Quest Way, where Sanders again drove into the SUV. A security guard told them to leave, so the pair pulled back onto Challenge, hitting parked cars along the way. Both Sanders and James then drove off, continuing to strike each other's vehicles. They also nearly hit a man and his son, who were standing nearby, police said.Sanders told police she didn't have car insurance.Man charged in fatal shooting in Northeast Shelby CountyPolice have arrested a man in a fatal shooting Monday in Northeast Shelby County, but are apparently still searching for others suspected of involvement.Darius Alexander, 22, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Lapier Mitchell, 21. Alexander, accus迷你倉d of driving the getaway car, is being held at the Shelby County Jail.According to the Sheriff's Department, the incident happened about 10 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Harvest Valley Drive. Mitchell and several others were hanging out at that address when another group approached, officials said, asking "if they had any weed for sale." Mitchell approached the group, asking if one of them was "Lil' Ced."At that point, officials said, a man in that group pulled a gun and began firing. Mitchell fired back. Mitchell was hit, but identified his killer to officials, according to the affidavit. "Lil'Ced" and four other men fled, escaping in Alexander's maroon Impala.The man Mitchell identified, although named in the affidavit, hasn't been arrested yet. Mitchell later died at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.Dispute over woman ends in stabbingA Memphis man has been arrested for stabbing another man, apparently over a woman.Anthony Johnson has been charged with aggravated assault. He is being held at the Shelby County Jail.The incident happened Wednesday. Police didn't make the exact location clear, but the dispute began earlier that day at a trolley stop at 1314 Madison. Johnson confronted the victim at that spot, accusing him of sleeping with his girlfriend. He then pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed the victim several times in the chest and back.Johnson fled, but police found him hiding in a trash Dumpster a few blocks away.
