OPD: Three people charged with possession of drugs in separate, related incidents

Source: Odessa American, TexasNov.mini storage 02--Three people are facing drug charges in connection to related incidents in an Odessa neighborhood, according to a report from the Odessa Police Department.Shaneva Colene Brock, 32, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, endangering a child and false identification in connection to one of the incidents. Jason Roy Yielding, 32, and Nevatiny Don Berry, 33, were charged in possession of cocaine in connection to another, related incident.OPD spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said Berry and Brock have children together and live together at the same address.The report stated at 2:30 p.m. Wednesdays officers went to the 1200 block of Patton Drive attempting to locate a wanted person. When officers got to the address, they were met at the door by a woman identifying herself as 32-year-old Leona Brock, the report stated.The report stated officers smelt a strong odor of marijuana at the door and immediately applied for a search warrant for the home.While waiting for the warrant, officers discovered the woman was actually Shaneva Brock and that she had a warrant for possession of dangerous drugs and a warrant for driving while intoxicated.While searching the woman's home, officers found a 4-year-old child, several ounces of marijuana and cocaine, the report stated.Brock was taken to the Ector County Detention Center at that point.As of Friday, Brock, 1209 Patton Drive, was being held without self storageond because of the two warrants.The report stated at 10:22 a.m. Thursday, officers saw a white Chrysler 300 "conduct an unsafe start from a parked position" in the 1200 block of Patton Drive.
