Source: Appeal-Democrat, Marysville, Calif.迷你倉Sept. 20--A Nevada City consultant will prepare an updated wastewater rate study for Live Oak.The City Council on Wednesday night awarded a $10,000 contract to Georgette Aronow.The city last reviewed its wastewater rates in 2009 to obtain approval for financing of its new wastewater treatment plant.Aronow also did that study.In a memo to the council, Finance Director Satwant Takhar said "some inequities in monthly user rates for some of the rate categories, for example, restaurants" are now apparent.An updated analysis "based on recent costs to operate the new plant and current budget appropriations for the sewer enterprise fund would determine if there exist any user rate inequities between the various categories of ratepayers," he said.The study should take a few months.MarysvilleFee schedules, codes updatedMarysville City Council members this week approved the latest in a series of changes updating longstanding city fee schedules and codes.The council adopted changes to the police and city services fee schedules, including fees for police report preparation, accident reports and property damage and crime reports.Also approved was the first reading for updates to the municipal code, including references to the superceded position of "city administrator."Yuba CountyGriego elected chairwomanYuba County Supervisor Mary Jane G文件倉iego was elected chairwoman of the California Association of the Local Agency Formation Commission.She is also a member of the Yuba Local Agency Formation Commission, which nominated her ot the state board.The California board helps the local boards as a resource to the Legislature and otherbodies, and offers a structure for sharing information among the state's 58 local panels andother governmental agencies.
