Source: South Bend Tribune, Ind.迷利倉Jan. 14--SOUTH BEND -- A judge sentenced a former South Bend Community School Corp. bus driver to one year of probation after a jury convicted the woman of having sex with a student who rode her bus.A jury in 2012 convicted Monisha Simpson, 34, of two counts of Class D felony child seduction for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old Clay High School student.St. Joseph Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Hurley on Tuesday handed down a year sentence for each count, and ordered that Simpson serve them at the same time.The judge suspended the sentence, though, meaning Simpson will serve it on迷你倉probation.Charging documents filed in January 2012 said the woman got to know the student while he rode on her bus in 2011.The teenager would go to her home to hang out with her and her children, the documents say.The teenager told police the two had sex at her home.Simpson denied the sexual relationship during the two-day trial.The school corporation placed her on administrative leave after the teenager made the allegations, and later fired her.Copyright: ___ (c)2014 the South Bend Tribune (South Bend, Ind.)
